Christ said that He came to be a servant, not to be served. With Christ as our ultimate example for us to follow, we are to be servants as well. At our church, we offer many different opportunities / ministries to volunteer for and to use the gifts that God has given you.
Volunteer Opportunities
Jericho (Sidewalk Sunday School)
If God has gifted you with a passion for working with children, then Jericho is a ministry that will use you. We take a trailer stocked with games, candy, and sound equipment into a neighborhood and invite the kids to join. Most importantly we bring them the power of the Gospel.
Music
The Scriptures tells us that we are to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. If God has gifted you with musical abilities then we welcome you to use those gifts to edify the saints and worship our great God.
Sound Board and Video Stream
This ministry involves working the soundboard, or working the cameras and computers for streaming and recording the services. If God has gifted you with the abilities to work computers and the soundboard, then we welcome you to use your gifts to further the Kingdom.
Workdays
During workdays, the members of the church get together to complete projects around the church facilities. The workdays are a great way to form camaraderie and bonds with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
